Fresh fruit and seasonal goods
Fresh fruit is seasonal, perishable, and sensitive to weather, harvest timing, ripeness, distance, and handling. Because of that, fresh fruit may not always be available for shipping.
Some fresh items may be limited to market pickup, local pickup, or direct arrangement. Dried fruit, preserves, sauces, and shelf-stable specialty goods are usually easier to ship, but they still depend on current inventory.
